The book offers intermediate level Russian in an effective format. I recommend that you first complete ‘Colloquial Russian – Complete Course’ before tackling this book. I especially liked the vocabulary, word sets, and dialogues. Some of the grammar could have been more explanatory, but overall quite adequate. The authors also attempted to provide a glimpse of Russian life with the stories and dialogues which I found appealing.
