Hybrid Theory is the debut studio album by American rock band Linkin Park, released on October 24, 2000, through Warner Bros. Records. Recorded at NRG Recordings in North Hollywood, California, and produced by Don Gilmore, the album’s lyrical themes deal with problems lead vocalist Chester Bennington experienced during his adolescence, including drug abuse and the constant fighting and divorce of his parents. Hybrid Theory takes its title from the previous name of the band as well as the concept of music theory and combining different styles.

I still can’t believe he’s gone. It’s hard to describe how much someone you never met meant to you. His lyrics his voice his demons his passion the flame that he drove. This band and Chester in particular have gotten me thru hard times. It’s hard to accept that someone that used their outlet to help others that struggled with the same thoughts and problems couldn’t find a way out. None of us know what happened or what brought him to that place but I just wish someone could have said or done something to help him the way he helped us. This is hard to process this will probably be the last piece of art released with Chester. RIP man. I hope you’ve found piece and that you have made it to a better place.
I don’t know what to say about these songs they sound phenomenal but it’s hard to listen to. It will probably bring tears to your eyes it’s powerful it’s an appreciation of his work and the rest of his band mates trying to give him a final goodbye.

Live in Texas is the first live album and third DVD by American rock band Linkin Park, originally released on November 18, 2003. The band’s main setlist includes songs from their studio albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora, as well as one song from their remix album Reanimation. The album managed to peak at #23 on the Billboard 200, and it has sold 1.1 million copies in the United States. The audio version of the concert includes 12 out of the 17 tracks. At the end of “A Place For My Head”, lead singer Chester Bennington breaks guitarist Brad Delson’s guitar. At the end of the concert, DJ Joe Hahn threw a piece of his equipment on the stage floor.

Living Things is the fifth studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released under Warner Bros. Records and Machine Shop Recordings on June 20, 2012, in Japan, and throughout the rest of the world during the following week. Production was handled by vocalist Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin, who both co-produced the band’s previous two studio albums, Minutes to Midnight (2007) and A Thousand Suns (2010). Living Things is perhaps my most favorite Linkin Park album tied with A Thousand Suns. This album, just as the latter, can be listened to front to back with no interruption. You start out this album with “Lost in the Echo” which is the hook for the whole album. You’re brought in with Chester’s emotional vocals, a hard riff of electronica and rock, and it to mention Mike’s way with words. This song along is a perfect example of the versatility of Linkin Park. It covers so many platforms of sound, instrumentation, lyrics, vocals, genre, style, etc. I think I’ve said this a million times but Linkin Park are masters of every genre. While their older fans complain that their music is “not the old Linkin Park” similar to albums such as Meteora and Hybrid Theory, Linkin Park has been dabbling here and there to take over every single genre and they do it in a way that only they can. With songs on this album such as the first three tracks, “Lost in the Echo”, “In My Remains”, and “Burn It Down”, I refer to as ‘The Holy Trinity’ leading you into this journey of sound, there is no going back. You will never tire listening to this album as a whole. Each song gives you feelings unlike the last. Perhaps my favorite part is when you reach “Tinfoil”, a beautiful, simple yet complex instrumental that flows perfectly into “Powerless”. It’s an ethereal experience to listen to, please do yourselves a favor and avoid all bias towards Linkin Park’s older albums, and pick up a copy of Living Things. True lovers of art and music will appreciate all it has to offer.

This album you must listen front to back it is like watching a movie without visual but still the sounds, lyrics, and instrumentals of each reach create stunning images in your mind. Linkin Park has such a way with taking any style, any sound, any genre and recreating it in their own, unique way. They are truly masters of every genre and although people will say it’s “not Linkin Park” it’s not Meteora or Hybrid Theory, this IS for a fact Linkin Park. Linkin Park are true artists and musicians and are proving that through every track and album their release. Although their audience may be expecting their older material, they should realize that musicians and artists grow through their work and all in all, A Thousand Suns is a work of art and a true masterpiece of all time. If you love complex and diverse instrumentals, powerful lyrics, and an album that you can listen to as a whole without tire – buy A Thousand Suns. It’s truly incredible.

The album was produced by Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin, and first album not produced by Don Gilmore, who had produced the band’s two previous albums. Minutes to Midnight was the band’s follow-up album to Meteora (2003) and features a shift in the group’s musical direction. For the band, the album marks a beginning of deviation from their signature nu metal sound. Minutes to Midnight takes its title from the Doomsday Clock. Meteora is the second studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released on March 25, 2003 through Warner Bros. Records, following Reanimation, a collaboration album which featured remixes of songs included on their 2000 debut studio album Hybrid Theory. The album was produced by the band alongside Don Gilmore. The title Meteora is taken from the Greek Orthodox monasteries originally bearing the name. Meteora has a similar sound to Hybrid Theory, as described by critics, and the album took almost a year to be recorded. It is the first Linkin Park studio album to feature bassist Dave Farrell after he rejoined the band in 2000.
