About the Author

Patrick Carey is an author with 20 years of experience writing textbooks for trade and academic schools.

Patrick received his MS in biostatistics from the University of Wisconsin, where he worked as a researcher, designing and analyzing clinical studies. He co-authored his first textbook in 1995 on statistics using Microsoft Excel. Since that first book, Patrick has authored or co-authored over 30 text books on topics ranging from Microsoft Office to web page design to web programming.
