About the Author
Nigel A. Caplan, PhD, is an associate professor at the University of Delaware English Language Institute in the United States, where he teaches courses ranging from academic writing for graduate students to language through drama. A native of the UK, Nigel has been living and teaching ESL in the US for over 15 years, and is almost fluent in American English. He holds a PhD in Education from the University of Delaware, a Master’s in TESOL from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bacherlor’s degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from Cambridge University. He has written several ESL textbooks with the University of Michigan Press and Oxford University Press.
