Reviews
A terrific book, no matter what your field of study
Anything Brockman edits is compelling and readable. This book contains a series of short, accessible thought pieces on a variety of topics. Many of the lessons are really just good logic. You get an explanation and a little background, in addition to an answer to the question, “Why does this idea matter?” The authors are eminent. The prose is clean. I find something to remark upon with every turn of the page.
